Steve's birthday

Moved into La Rosa de Los Vientos, the B&B on the way to El Toro beach. Robert and Isabelle are the owners and are the loveliest couple. Their B&B was written up in Lonely Planet guide as the #1 place to stay in Pedasi!  As you sit on your porch you see giant ships making their way to the Panama Canal, as well as pangas (small boats for fishing and diving). This stretch of shore is known as the tuna coast and has a laboratory for studying hatchlings until they are 3 months old. It is associated with Scripts Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, California.

Opened a fabulous bottle of wine that Gretchen and Tom gave us (it survived the flight with the help of bubble wrap!) and watched the sunset from the porch- very fun!
